This is my pictorial homage to AICR. Today is my final day of employment with this organization and it has been a great 2 years. I have made some wonderful friends and gained invaluable experience planning events, cultivating donors and engaging in various and sundry shenanigans. I will miss my colorful coworkers and the dysfunctional family environment at AICR. Its a great organization that makes positive contributions to the world of cancer prevention (risk reduction if you will). May Friday funnies live on forever. Adieu adieu!!!
This is a sweet website which tracks books on their journeys. I found this one on the orange line from the East Falls Church metro. The neat thing is it was written in 1929 before WWII!! I am going to read it and then release it on some mode of transportation….not sure which.

Jonstorp- the place where Martin lives- a small town on the coast of sweden that is gorgeous. I felt at peace immediately when we arrived.
